Synopsis
The two families of Capulet's and Montague’s an old feud and members of the house hold bait each to provoke a fight. Meanwhile Romeo, eldest son of the House of Montaque, languishes over his love for Rosaline, He gates-crashes a masked ball at the Capulet's wit his friends, Mercutio and Benvolio, hoping to see her. Instead, he sees Juliet; the beautiful young daughter of the Capulet’s and instantly falls in love wit her. The meet, declare their love for each other and with ten aid of Juliet’s nurse, are secretly married by Friar Laurence. But fates are working against are working against them. In the scrap marketplace, Lady Capulet’s nephew Tybalt kills Mercutio, despite Romeo’s peacemaking efforts. Romeo is distraught and ends up killing Tybalt in revenge. The Prince banishes Romeo from Verona.
The unhappy Capulet’s decide to marry Juliet off to Paris, a young nobleman. Juliet, who cannot reveal that she is already married, runs to Friar Laurence who gives her a potion to put her into a deep sleep, simulating death. He promises to get a message to Romeo, who will come to rescue her from the Capulet’s family tomb. But the message gets delayed. Romeo; hearing of Juliet’s ‘death’, arrives at the tomb and, in total despair, takes poison. Juliet wakens, finds her lifeless lover and then stabs herself with a dagger. Only after this double tragedy do the families accept how futile their feud has been and finally join together in their mutual grief.
